  Dreams in Focus By Isaac Kirigwi On June 18, 2025, the BEAMS Media Training Centre in Karen, Nairobi, celebrated the graduation of 36 youth aged 18 to 25 from some of Kenya’s most underprivileged communities. This milestone marked not just the end of a training programme, but the beginning of new opportunities, personal growth, and empowerment. The graduates completed intensive hands-on training in media and creative arts, including videography, photography, graphic design, 3D printing, and music production. For many, this was their first encounter with professional tools and platforms, and they emerged with new confidence, creativity, and career-ready skills. Beyond technical training, the programme emphasized environmental responsibility, engaging students in clean-ups and climate change awareness. BEAMS Graduates Underprivileged Youth  Karen, Nairobi, Kenya – June 29, 2025 Graduates group photo On a bright Wednesday morning, 36 young men and women between the ages of 18 and 25 walked proudly across the graduation stage at BEAMS Media Training Centre in Nairobi. But this wasn’t just any graduation, it was a celebration of resilience, opportunity, and transformation. The graduates come from some of Kenya’s most underprivileged backgrounds. Many had no access to formal education or job opportunities, until BEAMS stepped in.
