  Dreams in Focus By Isaac Kirigwi On June 18, 2025, the BEAMS Media Training Centre in Karen, Nairobi, celebrated the graduation of 36 youth aged 18 to 25 from some of Kenya’s most underprivileged communities. This milestone marked not just the end of a training programme, but the beginning of new opportunities, personal growth, and empowerment. The graduates completed intensive hands-on training in media and creative arts, including videography, photography, graphic design, 3D printing, and music production. For many, this was their first encounter with professional tools and platforms, and they emerged with new confidence, creativity, and career-ready skills. Beyond technical training, the programme emphasized environmental responsibility, engaging students in clean-ups and climate change awareness.
